Ariel Nomad. Taking an iconic hotrod off-road.
The story of Ariel Nomad
One of our most unusual outputs are the plastic moulded parts of the Ariel Nomad - the off-road brother to the iconic Ariel Atom.
It’s been great to see this car featured on Top Gear (see below) and we’re proud of the role we’ve played.
We make the front and rear covers and the mudguards for this rugged machine so a clean finish and robust construction are essential along with very tight tolerances.
And these shapes are a little unusual in rotomoulding so it’s a great one to show off the capabilities of the process.
But this was a project with a tight budget so we worked together with the client to find ways to ensure they got what they needed in the most cost-efficient way.
